With 25 years of pastoral experience, Dr. Steven Wright has pastored churches in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Steven has been married to the love of his life, Patti, a pharmacist, for 26 years.  Patti is from Blakely, Georgia.  The two have been blessed with three sons, Justin, 20, Jonathan, 17, and Jackson, 15.  Steven received his Bachelor of General Studies, with Concentrations of Religious Studies, American Studies, and Culture and Society from Georgia Southern University in 1998.  He earned his Master of Divinity degree from McAfee School of Theology in 2002.  He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Beeson Divinity School in 2010.  He has a wide range of interests including reading, sports, spending time with his energetic family, and working in his yard, just to name a few.  Steven is excited to be a part of Peachtree Baptist Church and is looking forward to “dreaming” together about God’s future with this loving congregation.  He is convinced that it is God’s desire to use Peachtree to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to individuals in the community as they encounter his loving and forgiving nature and come to know God personally through him.  Steven’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:1:  “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”  If you have questions about how you can know Jesus, Steven would love to talk with you.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to him.
