Daniel Vestal, Senior Pastor
Daniel Vestal has been a Pastor of churches both in Texas and Georgia. He was also the Executive Coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (1996-2012). In addition to serving Peachtree, he teaches at the McAfee School of Theology and directs the Eula Mae and John Baugh Center for Baptist Leadership at Mercer University. Daniel and Earlene are the proud parents of three children and six grandchildren.
Karen Zimmerman, Associate Pastor
Karen Zimmerman is Associate Pastor for Missions and Community Ministry at Peachtree Baptist Church. She is a recent graduate of McAfee School of Theology and Penfield College of Mercer University, studying Christian Theology and Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. Karen directs Peachtree's International Ministry and helps the church coordinate mission engagement with our community, our region, and our world. Before coming to Atlanta, Karen taught elementary school music for a few years and spent some time living in Nepal. She loves spending time with friends, eating good food, and travelling. William and Leslie Brogdon, Ministers to Families
William and Leslie are the Ministers to Families at Peachtree Baptist Church. They direct the children and youth ministries at Peachtree and host a weekly family night dinner at their home in Decatur. They were married in 2010 and they had a daughter in 2014. They are originally from Gwinnett County and lived in Dawsonville for several years before joining the staff at Peachtree. They love to cook, travel, and play European board games. Linda Huezo, Children's Ministry Intern
Linda comes to us from McAfee School of Theology for a year-long internship in children's ministry. Linda's skill in navigating multicultural settings like Peachtree and in instruction in the Montessori method makes her a great fit for our ministry to children and for this year's roll out of Godly Play.
